That suck Noah.
Don't come to London looking for work though. Ever since Ais left, it's been all downhill. Seems every company in every industry here is laying off. Not a good scene.

I challenge every BOL member to get out to at least one race this season...
Cripes! No way I read through all that.. You girls take your Wy trip? I've spent a fair bit of time up that way..it's really beautiful. Early august, in some streams as wide as can be pee'd across, one can crawl up and peak over the bank to see startlingly large cutthroat trout, just a arm's length away. These fish have bright crimson belly's and vibrant olive backs and seem to float above the rocks because the water is so clear. I must have watched them for about an hour.
Bummer Noah! Wow, seems like everyone is having trouble. Best of luck through the holidays!

I'm having a hell of a time getting rid of some bridgestone potenza RE050A tires in 215/45/18.. Anyone know of someone who'd want them? Local would be great but I could ship 'em. 2 are very good, 2 are good, and I don't want much $$ for 'em.
I know non-snowboard stuff isn't allowed in the classifieds, but I figure this thread's already far enough gone.
Anyone hurting for Wii accessories for Xmas? I've got a few brand new things.....

HAD, but don't have anymore. Bummer.
Personally, I have Guitar Hero (new, haven't played yet) and NHL Hockey. Fun, but way intense, and I get confused with all the buttonsMy friend has Wii fit, and there is a snowboard race game where you run gates! She got her hubby Shaun White for Xmas, can't wait to play that. WAHOOO! Wii Rules!

Wow - congrats to you both!! Is she a Red Sox fan? Yankee fan (gasp!)?
Right now funds and nagging injuries are holding me back from doing much snowboarding. I also have been competing full-on in four different sports 24/7/365 for the last five years and, well, I just need some down time...so the financial and physical healing is perfectly timed. If things start to come together I'll try to head down your way. I'm really trying to get back to 95 percent (100 percent is probably in the past) for the upcoming skateboard slalom season. I did really well this year and want to chase it next summer - looks like the Worlds may be in Hood River in July!
Good to hear things are OK...your "layoff" post was kinda scary.
Rip it bro!

Noah that is awesome news. Commiser...I mean Congratulations!
Happy to give you all the advice you might need - just be aware that regardless of what you want, either 1) your wife to be, 2) her parents or 3) your parents won't be satisfied with what you have in mind.
Step 1: set a budget, based on what you want to do and the number of people you want
Step 2: double it
Step 3: try and avoid arguements, which only result in blowing the budget out further
Step 4: give in - the first of many times for the remainder of your life together you will have to give in (get used to it)
Step 5: screw the money and have an awesome time on the day - as my younger brother suggested, you can focus on budgeting the second time around!
Step 6: spend the next 12 months paying off the multiple credit cards you had issued to cover the cost, which was ultimately about 4 times what you originally thought a wedding would cost (and about 8 times what any sane man thinks a wedding SHOULD cost)
Oh yeah, a serious tip though. Go for long tables rather than round ones. Doing a seating plan is tons easier that way.

Oh god, I didn't tell you. We never ended up going!
There was an explosion in the tunnell and they postponed all non essential travel. So we tried to delay our trip into November, but by the time they eventually came back to us they only gave us 10 days notice before we could go and we were expected to reorganise our own accom. Massive saga!
So we just cancelled the trip and went to New York at the start of Dec instead.
We will get to Paris eventually.
