Soft boot set-up for Burton Wire 56?

I have owned a Burton Wire 56 as my initial alpine set-up(Burton hard boots and Trenchdigger plate bindings).

I now use a longer board for my alpine set up and was thinking about soft boot set-up for my old Burton Wire.

The waist width is about 22cm and was going to use my Switch N series step-ins and size 8 Vans Mach(20 degrees front, 15 degrees rear).

Do you think there will be too much toe or heel drag? The sidecut on the Wire 56 is about 8.97m.

Any opinions, suggestions, etc. is appreciated.

    Wired Softie

Just grab some Palmer Liftplates, run binding angles that don't boot you out at 80* of edge-tipping,and you're set for pow days!

    Thanks PSR!

I have installed some Burton Elevators and will give it a go over the holidays.

    Happy Holidays!

Lifters are the way to go! I've got the palmers on my Fusion with CFX bindings...way fun for a softie set up.
