What music are you listening to today?

We need some new threads on non snow related activities. Post links to music that turns you on.

To start off here is the newly remastered King Crimson "Lizard" LP from 1970. I used to get so STONED to this and play it LOUD! Circa 1978-80.
Put your feet up and enjoy this classic. Real treasure. "Prince Rupert Awakes" is awesome.

First time on a snowboard on my 40th birthday. My goal is to find out how old I can be and still carve it up!

tex1230 I was going to mention Skrillex Bangarang, too! It's awesome. I've been listening to some David Guetta. This is "Titanium"--very commercial but very good. Loved old school punk back in the day.

If you click on this song, you are required to play it LOUD, especially for one of the best bass solos ever recorded.

After listening to a later CD from this band for the last X years, last week I purchased their 3 first CD's. Here is one of my favorites from their first album Ferment

    good cover and great presentation

edit: just noticed my evil post count. pretty sweet - should have posted up some Black Sabbath or some other "stab your dog, kill your mother" music, as a baseball coach of mine used to say.

thanks I Lovett, Tex, BodD,jsa, scrutton and Sultan Guy - some i like, some not so much, but how else would we know if not to listen. The Luka Bloom song would be great if he just stuck to the guitar. Fun thread, Sultan Guy.

I'm right now listening to some Joe Satriani's guitar hits, it's really inspiring to start learning how to play guitar.

Recently rediscovered Hi-Standard, which I guess is Japanese surf punk (is that a genre?). When I lived in Japan, a friend's band used to cover them.

This song has a great hook.

super album. 2 songs in and i was hooked (also, nice contribution, Dan. 2 minute songs can last longer in a way).
