Thanks Jason! It was fun! The guy who won was a former Palmer team boardercross racer and Gould Academy coach. The guy who took second also got second last year. I can live with that!

Yeah, old guys rule! Although I don't think I get to say that for another 2 years when I turn 40. On another note, I guess Seth had to field a couple complaints about hardboots being allowed.![]()

Well done at Nerdercross (inside joke), Jack!!
haha, actually with only 4 hardbooters and 111 softbooters, I don't think this qualifies as a Nerdercross!![]()

“Yes, it is much more challenging to ski 210 cm toothpicks. But do you choose to go to the wooden outhouse in the wintertime? Or it is more pleasant to use the indoor toilet instead? Why take challenges from the past when we can go on and challenge us on what’s possible with the current technology?”

Wish I had used my sl board. Perfect course for it. Could have just as easily been a disadvantage for race boards. Alot of overlays were used by everyone. This was definately a precision race.
Hard boots, soft boots either way it was a fun SNOWBOARD event and It was a pleasure getting a few seconds handed to me by you "old man" off of the backside of your Coiler... made me wish I did one run on each. Glad you did well and great hanging. once again hats off to u! But watch out next year they might put in a jump and create a manditory 360 or there is a 5 sec point deduction... haha start practicing!
Congratulations Jack! You should apply for the Mt. Baker LBS next season!

Come on Jack,,, where's the podium shot! thats the priceless picture!! haha
Or did I mis the photo?
They say that the best weapon is the one you never have to fire. I respectfully disagree. I prefer the weapon you only have to fire once. That's how Dad did it, that's how America does it, and it's worked out pretty well so far.

Looks like lots o' fun![]()
I admit it, I'm addicted to this sport... and we have cookies!
Come out and run the Baker LBS with me when you're 40 and I'm 61 (at the bottom of our age brackets). Hard to say for sure from the videos but I'm pretty sure the LBS is a lot steeper and tighter, and the snow tends to be softer. And, we have salmon.
