rumors about hidden valley board team 2012-13

I've been talking to a couple of the ski team coaches and hidden valley and their saying they might start a snowboard team next year. Would anybody around st louis want to join next year? how bout you MOwriter?

the problem we have at hidden valley is mainly we dont have coach or the equipment for setting a a snowboard gs/sl course.
i've been up for the starting of the team for the three years ive been racing with the ski team there.
about the best thing i can say is talk to hans, the guy who grooms: he also rides hardboots. and also talk to bob with management.

yes, I would be. and would you be phillip? I was looking around on nastar.com a couple days ago and found somewhere that nastar provides all the gates and timing stuff. and for coaching, coaching ourselves could be a possibility. the ski captain is heading out to colorado for march and told me to email him back at the beginning of april.

I wouldnt say this would be the best way to go about learning, but it'll work for a bit. We need hands on, realtime input from a coach to better our riding in the long run.

lets hope if there is a team you could be a part of it next year mowriter, and to get off the ground it would have to do but we would definatly need a true coach.

this is late but.. for courses we could use those neon pink and green stubby thing right? ive heard about other teams using them. and I was looking on the world cup supply website, I never realized equipment was so expensive.. $6000 for a timing system? daannngg.

already have the blue and red study gates out there in the start house and extra timing, just need the snowboard panels.

from world cup supply, theyd be about $570, not including shipping/tax...... fundraiser?........ oh and we would need the short stubby poles..

I'll have to see what next year looks like. I have tentative plans to spend most of my winter holiday break (about three weeks) in Colorado. Probably wouldn't have much money left for riding the rest of the season!
