I think that plane was experiencing a karma moment.

Awesome find! RC planes are my next hobby. I'm surprised the camera could be mounted so far forward on the plane.

Of course, when I make this video, the soundtrack will be Kenny Loggins.

RC helicopters work really well for actual filming of events since you can hover.

I just see it now, instead lots of people coming down the slopes with go-pros on poles, there will be all these little machines buzzing around, taking people out, hitting chair lifts.......

This is really cool. This R/C plane has a camera in the cockpit that transmits a live feed to the "pilot" on the ground. Plus it features Kenny Loggins.

Holy crap, all this stuff is amazing. How hard would it be to use a helicopter/quadcopter to film someone carving? I've heard that RC helicopters are very hard to learn to fly - is that true for quadcopters too? Could one of those keep up with a carver? (Maybe the bigger question is: "Could the RC pilot fly a camera quadcopter and keep up with the person being filmed?")

The GoPro technology is amazing. Someone with no skills can take technically astounding videos. However, the subject of most videos is interesting only to the person in the video. I have filmed myself and I doubt anybody would be interested in viewing them. This video is one of the exceptions. It is as close to a "bird's eye view" as one can get. Beautiful scenery from a perspective you could only get from an RC plane.
