Day 1 went off the hook with nearly 10 of us trenchin' up the Roy with a few inches of fresh to top it all off. Everyone is looking forward to tomorrows early loads on the basin express. We should have quite a big posse, the early loads bring out all types.

Yes indeed it was good groomers for our early loads today. Kram showed me some of the pics hopefully he will post them soon. 13 alpine rippers and 3 groomed runs all to ourselves - Blissfull.

Too busy to post pics but this snow report should rub in a bit

6am: It is still HAMMERING snow out there!! I'd put darn good money that it's snowed another inch since I've been up here. Gusty morning up on the hill. -JR
5am: Ladies and gentleman, we just got 12" of NEW SNOW!! There's no question about it, the powder out there is deeper than it has been all year!! We've had 21" in 24hrs and 32" in 48hrs!! As epic as powder days can get anywhere, you'll find it right here at Schweitzer Mountain Resort!! -JR

We have been pounded with lots of powder so we are all a little busy ripping it up. However steve pro should soon have a little teaser to put on here. There might also be a few more pics also. We had a great event had a ball looking forward to next year already.

Amen to that! Riding Thursday-Saturday, I had 2 days of great carving conditions (including early loads on Thursday), followed by a huuudge powder day on Saturday. Couldn't have asked for anything more...

Thanks very much to Pusbag, Boardski, and Kram for doing such a great job with organizing (killer swag bags at the banquet too, I might add). Thanks Steve P and Tae for clinics and tips, Dane and Anne for their hospitality and a lot of great home cooking, and all the riders who attended for bringing the stoke! Definitely count me in for next year!

The reason for the dates for nice is that was when schweitzer had time to fit us in their event schedule. Not the best dates but not the worst either.

and just for that, I'll leave the pictures here to show again with your quote..... but seriously, I have kids.... my daughter has had a couple of these helmet covers and if I can do something silly enough to make someone smile, then why not????? but that second one? oh, I don't know..... does the tiger helmet make my butt look big?????
