I'm not familiar with the Donek Axxess - so I can't really compare it to that board.

This Blast is fairly stiff and at 19.8cm waist width its very stable. Has plenty of life/pop/energy. I'm 155lbs and it rode sweet. I'd say the ideal weight range would be between 170lbs and 220lbs, depending on ability of course.

Would you call this a groomer only board, or capable all mountain? What kind of range of usage would this be good for?

The board is good on the groomers and light enough to be quite capable all mountain.

I have the 178 blast with a 19 waist 13 scr. rides awesome in crud or groom black diamond to blue.its a well built board
Great for someone looking to step it up from the 10-12 meter scr carvers.
    New carve sticks are expensive.
