Ok, I know that snow is not even flyin' yet, but Stratton is prepared to book lodging for ECES. Call 1-800-Stratton, press 1 for lodging reservations, and mention group code 4BC1R2 for the East Coast Expression Session.
It's ON!!!!!!!!!![]()

Do we know where/if/when the banquet will be this year? It was great staying in the same place as the banquet last go around...
Ben (the tall one)
The banquet will be on thursday night again Ben. And yes, it will be in the same location as last time...in The Inn @ Stratton. The only difference is this time it will be bigger and betterSee you there!
I'm up for the Inn at Stratton, would like to get 3 others to keep costs to a minimum![]()
..
More Smiles per mile :)
765 grams = 1.6865 lbs. or 26.985 oz.
Is it possible to get a single occupancy rate?
Just in case one can't find a roommate.
Thanks
David
FYI, I just booked a single room at the Inn @ Stratton for about $83 per night with no lift ticket. Not sure if that is a standard rate or ECES rate. I was told it is a single queen bed in a room in the basement. Ha! Not sure what I am in for, but oh well...after riding hard each day, I don't plan on being awake much in it anyways.

I'm new to ECES. Scoping it out for now. What does "Package Includes: One Night of Lodging, One Day of Riding " mean?
Is that the per night rate inclusive of a lift ticket? eg. Hypothetically, I'm in the Inn at Stratton with one other person; are we each paying 85.37 per night and getting a free lift ticket thrown in? So, that would be 6 nights @ 85.37 for accomodation + 6 days lift tickets (per person). So, roughly $530 ish each for accom and lift ticks? So, $1060 ish total.

^ Exactly - it's like free lift tickets all week long! (Continental breakfast for you too...)
Geoff, I don't think they had an ECES discount/package for a single. But I made my reservation in 30 seconds between meetings, while multitasking at work, so I honestly didn't pay attention very hard to the reservationist. I just listened for a reasonable single rate at the Inn, and said "OK, I'll take it, here is my CC info..."
But I am pretty sure there is no lift tix with my room, and I think it is a standard rate. Besides, no one would want to share a room with me unless they are an alcoholic, as I can snore with the best of them...especially after riding all day.

There are no single rates. All rates are based on double-occupancy(at least). And yes, the rate includes lift ticket.
What are the dates on this? Are there demos coming as well?
Thanks
L-
Post on ECES dates is here
Yes we will have demos, we are still early in the game. Details of the event are still developing and package pricing will becoming out over the next month or two.
I just got a single rate of 99.00 at Stratton Mt. Inn for Wed. No ticket- I get a steep discount through my ski club, as it'as a Ski Council day. Booked through Hotels.com. I like their site, b/c you can cancel, full refund, 3 days out. With ski trips, I like that option due to condition issues.
It's great to see another CT native on the roster! I hope to see you there!![]()
