I still have a number of 184 GS prototypes as well as a 180 proteus prototype. There is a fiberglass 172 AX and a fiberglass 171 FC demo. The 200 Hazelwood is still available too. I do have a brand new 175 metal FC with a couple minor base blemishes I'll sell for $850.

    Sean,

What is the flex pattern, etc., like on the 2 white GSs (if they are still available)? Anything like your recreational GS?

    Thanks,
    Colin

    Sorry Colin,

I have been working on a new video and missed your question. They are close to the final flex for the rev, but slightly different from each other. If you give me a call I can give you more specifics.

Thanks Sean. I think I may be talking to you about that Sasquatch you have floating around instead.... Looking for a little more play than the Sabers I think.

I'd be happy to discuss it with you. I typically ask a lot of questions and collect a lot more data in order to build the most appropriate board for someone. Just give me a call and we can figure out what will work best for your needs.

    Fibreglass 171 FC1 available?

    Sean:

It may be a little bit late, looking at the date on this thread, but I noticed there was a fiberglass 171 FC1 still on the list. Is it still available?

Is it the 18cm waist and standard flex?

I have an Olympic construction and I am looking for a standard flex for more forgiveness.

    Question

Hey Sean, do you have any carving/AM demo boards that might be suitable for a soft booter friend of mine ready to start HB carving? He's 6'2" and 280lbs.

Yes. The specs have not been published on the web site yet, but they are available.

Sean, is the 172 Fiberglass AX still avail? If so,

    a) is N/W/T/SCR same as on your website for the Metal AX?

    b) which one is it in the upper pic? Labels on the boards hard to read. I assume left-hand-most one?

    c) not familiar with pros/cons of fiberglass (vs wood and metal). Brief perspective from you (or other BOL members) appreciated.

    Thanks much

It is the standard spec listed on the web site. Left most board. Metal is more damp and forgiving, and easier to ride on hard icy terrain.

thanks Sean, is this to say that fiberglass will be the opposite (e.g. more lively and thus prone to chatter in icy conditions, particularly for an intermediate carver)?

That's fairly accurate, but some of the new technologies we're using reduce this. A properly decambered shovel can reduce vibrations in a board.
