    Bike helmet

    Hi,

I'm looking for a helmet with a lot of ventilation and around 100$. I'm using my bike to go to work , around 25 km (15 miles) daily.
I currently have a Giro Indicator

I've tried Louis Garneau's helmet, supposed to be very good in the ventilation area, but they don't fit my head.

I've seen the Specialized Vice, I liked it even with its Batman look. It's a mountain bike helmet but I would use it in the city.

    Any input ?

You sound like you are on the right track, find something that fits before you worry about features and looks.

If the Giro you have now fits well, try out one of their higher end helmets, like the stylus, or save a few more pennies and go for the atmos, it looks very well vented, but unfortunately is quite a bit out of your price range.

I wear a Giro Pneumo. We have one of last year's left on closeout if you can wear a Medium. Was $145, now $75.

Pricier but very popular is this year's LAS Squalo.

Shipping to Canada would run about $23.

perhaps outside of your price range ..

.. but i'll recommend it anyway, since i wear one and have yet to experience overheating. in fact, i've sometimes had to use the little insert they give you to deflect air.

    Giro Ionos.
