probably just an exchange rate variance. thing is, there's almost nowhere in the UK where you could safely get up to GS speeds for more than .. 10 seconds.

The price did go up. They had it "on sale" for GBP 175 for two "buy it now" cycles.

175 would've been worth it, even for the 1 resort that has a long+wide enough run. hmm.

I'll admit it. I wouldn't mind having it for a backyard board. Looks stompy.

    $650 opening bid...

...well I hope he/she does not attempt to bid in order to generate interest...it may not sell for much more than the first bid.

The guy is probably getting very optimistic with the number of page views he's getting for that board.

    a mere $3,500

I've got a similar board in much better condition I'd let go for half that much. As the 2nd owner (bought from a friend in '85) I know it's only been ridden a dozen times.
I'd even throw in free shipping & the vintage hardboots for a ready to ride package

I think someone ought to show up at SES in this and distort a few realities!

Since dredman is more likely to make it to SES, I'll send him the link.

$40 for a brand new FP is distorted the other way. That definitely would be a bargain.
