Hi all,

As you can see by my post count I am new here. I have been riding for 15 years and of those 15, I raced during my high school (4) years on my friends Burton Prime (cant remember specs). Its been awhile since I've been in hardboots and I want to pick it up again and own my own board! I have been reading and researching alot. I recently moved to the west coast so I cant wait to hit the slopes!

Maybe you guys can help me out with picking a board, plates and boot for my specs? I do not intend to race only freecarve.

I have been looking at the FS boards, Burton/IBEX plates and deelux boots, trying to go with a stiffer board and boots but more giving plates. With my weight I'm just not too sure how stiff everything should be. I hope I am going in the right direction?

I am trying not to break my bank account so older/used boards and plates are fine. I think I would only invest more money on a new pair of boots.

I know you get alot of these questions but the closest thread similar to me was 5-11 and 200ish lbs.

Thanks,

-Kevin
