Cool Woo! Sliding in Beverly Hills!

Here is a video of me and my dad longboarding in a parking structure in beverly hills.

Ironically, there is a street near by called "alpine dr."

I got my avatar from the very last slide.

    I know, terrible editing.

Thats because i DIDNT edit it.

Just put in titles........... and forgot to type things in the titles..

    Thumbs up Cool Vid

Wish we have the same nice place to slide like that. We have a nice hot asphalt to practice . Hard on the wheels and our skin
I'll see if we can share our progress this week.

    Cheers

cool vids and nice sliding. the one thing that you're doing though, is called "stink bug" - where you grab the board between your knees. For whatever reason, it's considered bad form/taboo. You're supposed to grab the board outside of your knee.

Don't ask me, I don't know why, I just read it at one of the sliding articles posted up at the fish.
Go out and ride. Everyone just STFU and riiide!!!

I try not to, but it just happens as a force of habit kinda thing.

I'll work on it next time.

Ahh I love the sound of low speed slides in a garage. Hard on the ears but still awesome!

Part of the case against stink bugging is that it will tend to center your unweighting. You want to be asymmetrical in your unweighting or you'll never be able to clean up those Colemans with no hands on the board.

Simply put, grabbing outside the knee makes it easier to initiate!

Ironic that you mentioned that Theo.

I just told Erwin about how i started with the coleman, but i didn't like it.

I ended up kinda making my own style i guess.

I'll fix the stink bugging though
