    looking for board and bindings!

    hi
i'm a snowboarder trying to move towards racing, and i'm looking to buy a racing board and bindings. i have boots already, mondo size 24, and i'm looking for a board thats about a 157. if anybody has any old stuff they're looking to sell please let me know!!
i'm hoping to get cheaper stuff right now so that i can get better at racing, then i hope to buy some more custom stuff in a few years.

I'll pair that Nidecker 156 with some old bindings, fro 100+ship. It's an old board, but will get your feet wet at alpine... I'm in Vancouver, so no import hassles...

Kelowna!? We were just there a few weeks ago for a Nor-Am SBX event.

Your best bet is to contact Mark Ballard. He is a race coach in Calgary, he may know of some older boards from some of his female athletes. He's member name here is MJB, or you can contact him through his Club, just google Calgary Snowboard Club and you can get his contact that way.

Your second best bet is to search the classifieds here.

Contact Pat Gaudet up in tremblant, you can reach him through the SG snowboard site. He has some raceboards used and new, from a few years ago, some samples he may be able to let go for a good price.

are you looking to race slalom only because if you're going to use the next year or two to get used to carving it may be better to get a more all around board for now then either chose a discipline or buy GS and SL boards. I have a 162 Nidecker prototype for sale. as far as i know it's one of a kind. 175 + shipping... i live in ottawa

I also have a 168 F2 Speedster RS, but if you've never been on a carving board it's probably too much board to learn on...

    ohhh Kelowna

Those where the days!! Silver Star and Big white!!

so much fun even a Capt. Morgan could enjoy it! Not to mention an Admiral !!
They say that the best weapon is the one you never have to fire. I respectfully disagree. I prefer the weapon you only have to fire once. That's how Dad did it, that's how America does it, and it's worked out pretty well so far.
