    Talking Gayda Day

Winter has returned with 300 knot winds and 2 foot visability. had to put my belligayva on after blowing snow blasted first three layers of skin off my face. Arne showed up with skwals mounted to his feet, so I had to ditch him.
Left the tanker in the element and rode the ax. Rode 2,6,and 8 until I got bored, and went over to the fis rated gs and slalom stuff at the valley, The race club saw that the LCI was on the hill and cancelled race practice while I showed 'em how it was done. Pulled so many g's on the race course layin down trenches that I don't have to do any reps to blast my quads and my calves for at least 2 years, they have gotten so big. Fun day
    'til Sunday,

    Thanks Mario,

I thought I ditched you when I went over to 8 with the ladies. Ran into Bola on the way back from 8. I told him where you were supposed to be, but I guess you were getting cold and had to leave by noon. The wind picked up later in the day as the 200 mph jet stream winds hit. Rode the fat skis until noon, then went with the Nittro Powder Swallowtail. About a foot of nice dense windpacked to to blast through.

Another good day at Lovey, except that it looked like the weekend with the crowds. Fortunately, most of them were in the lodge.

May be up on Saturday, for sure on Sunday.

Possibly only me tomorrow. Seems Concussed wiped out this evening and KarverKai wiped out at the BMX track this afternoon. We'll see if either recover by departure time.

    Awesome!!!!

Three smackdowns, had to toss one tele guy over the wedge bar, wrapped another guys skis around his neck, and had to stuff another guys head into a snow bank. Sublime and extensive grooming, tore up scrub for the first time. Ace, that is the most rockin' ensamble I have seen on the mtn since Inks racin' sweater last year, good ridin wit you!

    Thumbs up Oh Yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Killa' day with Big Mario, PCDenver, Thor, Ace, Arneburner, Snowboardsfast, Bob, James, Jeff, Big Dave and myself. On hill but not directly riding with us were LLR, and Kathy(?) also on HBs. Carving Scrub under lift 4 was an incredible rush and such a good time.

Ace, thanks for joining us as long as you could today. We'll ride again another day.

I won't be up tomorrow, forgot about a big project at work that I should be there for.

A most excellent day of riding today as noted by ink above. I don't plan on going Monday either. Hopefully I can try out the Virus on Tuesday.

You better update your profile if you want to remain an LCI prospect.

    Talking Still Smilin'

By far one of the sickest days on hardboots for me yet!! I could not fathom rippin down scrub or firecut like that at the beggining of the season, if not ever. D, Ink, and Pete, thanks again for all of the advice, pushing, and (tor)mentoring through the years, I cannot wait to hit it like that again, I keep runnin' that toeside rippa I put down in front of Ink through my head. Man what a day!!

This will go in your personal record. One more infraction like that and you won't be considered for full LCI status.

Yep, you missed out but there will be more good days, like this coming sunday.

I had to work today so I may be told to take a different day off, maybe thursday.

Almost, but not quite. The profile pic doesn't cut it! I think a more current/accurate representation is appropriate. One with two black eyes, a bruised lip, a scuffed chin and a bruised bridge of the nose would be better suited.

Can't wait till Sunday! Drooling already.

Let me know if you take Thursday off. I have one concall lined up that I can take at Lovey. Otherwise, I was thinking tomorrow.

Trying to finish up the quarter at school right now... next week is finals, but I'm only worried about one of them. Starting this Friday, I'm going to try to get at least 10 days in over the next 2 weeks, maybe more. So, with that said, if anyone wants to carpool any time between the 6th and the 22nd, I'm definitely in. Hoping a lot of days of practice in a short period of time will let me put everything together.

A big thanks to all the guys the I rode with on Sunday.
I wish I could have stayed longer. I actually could have, because one our flights was cancelled.
That is such a beautiful area of the world. I have to find myself there more often.
Here is one for you guys...sorry I left out the Kemper gloves.

    Ace,
It would have been cool if you could have stayed longer but we still had a great morning with you and Andre in the mix. Let us know the next time you will be out.

Didn't see you there today! Could have made it 8 hardbooters at the Basin

I have a lot of work to do so I'll be skipping tomorrow. Probably Sat / Definitely Sun.

There were 8 hardbooters at the Basin, today...
We did not get onto the snow until 1pm.
Got off the snow at 4:45 pm. It was a long day of classroom and digging in the snow! Funny, all the questions I got. What kind of boots are those? Why are you wearing hardboots? Is that hard to do? 2 more days of class.. Very little riding, but good info.
