    Thumbs up

Had a great weekend in Steamboat. KarverKai got 7th at his gymnastics meet. Knee deep on Steamboat was awesome on the 200 on Sunday. KK had never ridden that deep or that choppy and had it down by the middle of the first pitch. He rode so well and even dabbled in a couple terrain parks. Lil' jibber was riding boxes and even did his first 50/50 rail slide, start to finish, landed and rode away. It was sweet! He was starting to shred the bottom of the U-Jump also. A great time was had by all.

Oh yeah, my phone went swimming on the trip so I lost all my numbers. Can you LCI folks kindly send me an email with your digits? Thanks.

    Took off early after....

I knocked my head pretty good, shook off the cobwebs and rode for another 1/2 hour with a bit of a headache. Crowds started to get thick so Dirk and I bailed
I picked up a 200 cm pow board from Sean that he wants the tanker riders to test, he wants to get it dialed in and add it to his line of stock shapes.....
checking the weather forecast for next week right now.......

Hey guys, I saw some of you out today at Loveland, wish I had more time to ride. I had to be at work at 2... I'll probably be up there again on Thursday if anyone is going to be around...

Dude, no head slams. We have already tested that enough to know that it is not fun AND not good. How did Dirk do? 200.....huh, cool.

The gizmo was quite fun and gave new life to the 178 BS board. D.T. and Shelly showed up as we were moving to the Rathskeller for our recovery drink, TKCP.

Tony, good job "moving" on the board the last couple runs. Kate, don't be such a stranger. Kevin and John, thanks for a fun day. John, remember that time superman slid out on spillway?

I know, I wasn't paying attention to what I was doing in the middle of a turn, looking up to see where Dirk was and...... BLAMO
He did well, first time up this season, maybe 4th time ona board, I had him get the board up on edge a few times, but I think that tiny sidecut was hindering him a bit. He wants to come back up a few more times and get a few more short lessons, watch us, and go off to try and apply. I am going to put a few runs on that beast next week, freshies or not just to give Sean an idea of how it handles. It is a clone of a 03 deuce, with 12.45m of side cut, the thing is scary big......

Board is pretty good, I'll include you and Bigs in my review to Sean. - Actually I won't include you fellas so that you aren't thinking about my review when you get on the board.

    Talking Aaaaaaaah

Another good day of play yesterday. Me and the girls stayed on 2 and 6 since the best snow was there (not as wind blown). Bennetts was still a blast and that Knoll Air was flyin' fun. The girls got some pointers on carving and tree technique. Both improved and had fun.

Was up yesterday. Snow was super nice among bluebird skies. Interesting vibe. Rode up the lift with a guy who felt the need to share he was a pro-snowboarder. Had no clue who he was? Maybe this is technically where one is supposed to expose some part of the body for a signature? Then again I make for a lousy groupie.

    happy turns.

Sorry to bail early guys, Lovey ate me up and spit me out, and my right tricep suffered from the carnage (Thought it was also my lat but after some icing it appears to only be the tricep). I couldn't even close my right bail with my right hand, thought the best thing was to bug out. Hopefully its just a pull and not a tear, R.I.C.E. is in full effect.

Any way it was great taking a few runs with you guys and hopefully ill be ok for SES on Saturday. Beautiful day, hope everyone had a good one.

LOL, not your trench, but John and I were talking about some of the pretty deep trenches that had been laid down on that run. What happened was I went heelside and came out of the transition with my weight a little too far back on the board. As I started the change to toeside I had too much speed, couldn't get my weight to the nose or the middle of the board, so I wasnt ready, tried to compensate (i.e. tightened up and raised my center of gravity instead of relaxed into it and lowered my center) which led to me catching the edge on that transition. Threw me downhill sliding on my right tricep and lat, ouch! In hindsight, I hadn't warmed up enough on the easier stuff and gotten used to the conditions and tackled that run too early....live and learn.

    See ya at the milk!

one of those mario trenches almost took me down at Lovey last year. I am staying away from those trenches like the plague. It must have been a foot deep at least!
I think I will spend more time on the carving stick, not sticks, this year.
