    AC,

Possibly, I'll be in touch. Glad you are doing better and getting out on the bike. As of the two rides I did last week, BTWD and Friday, I now have 90 miles in on the road bike. My riding this summer hasn't quite panned out to actually getting rides in yet. Hopefully soon though.

Glad to read that you guys are getting some mileage in. I am just beginning to get back on the bike. I had a pretty bad get off on my road bike @ 25 mph two months ago. Bruised my tailbone severely, couldn't sit or ride in a car for a couple weeks. I also slammed my head into the ground , shattered my helmet into a few pieces. Fortunately, no major road rash but I am still feeling the tailbone injury. Had to get my melon checked out by the neurologist.

All I can say is wear those helmets, saved my noggin from some serious injury.

I did log in 70 miles last Saturday, temps were a balmy 100 degrees out there. I refilled water bottles at every opportunity. I was dumping water on my head like Floyd Landis did in the Tour a few years ago just to keep cool.
I think I will spend more time on the carving stick, not sticks, this year.

AA - quit that sh$t. Glad to hear you didn't get hurt too bad. FYI - I'm the resident helmet tester around here; I don't take kindly to people encroaching on my turf!

    OVR,

I too am glad that you didn't get hurt too badly. Definately don't be doing that anymore. It is bad enough with Big Mario testing helmets in the winter and D.T. testing them in the summer. We don't need any more testers!

Anyone up for a Friday afternoon ride?

Scheduled to get back Thursday PM.
Scheduled to work in Denver Friday AM.
Thinking of hitting Green Mountain, Mathews-Winters, etc., afterward.

What time are you thinking? I usually get off work around 4ish and could possibly meet up after that.

Saturday is the first day of the SL Skate Nationals sponsored by All Boards so KarverKai and I will head to Lafeyette for that one so no bikie for me on Sat.

    Not sure about Sunday yet.

I don't think that I can get out for that 1ish. Fridays I am usually the only one in the Arena covering both machines.

Bummer dude. Hopefully the bonus will be good and at least you have work to keep you busy all the time. I get bored and eat more... getting fatter by the day.

    I like pointy rocks

Rode Apex with Farmer tonight, its always nice to ride with someone who biffs more than you. It was rather amusing watching him stommit halfway down the rock problem before the forest and land in the stream at the base.
I had one near endo, but I felt it coming, and vaulted over the bars, a perfect2 point landing. Good times. I may be able to swing one on Sunday, I will let you know

KarverKai and I will be there Saturday to check it out. Bola is one of the sponsors so I will assume that he will be in attendance also.

    Skateboard slalom nats

The family and I checked out the skate slalom nats on saturday, ran into oldacura, and saw a bunch of fast riders. It was quite impressive to see their feet moving so quickly.

A course was set on a different hill, not so steep, for kids to give it a go. KarverKai went for it and had a blast! After running the course for a while he asked if we could get some cones. Anyway, here is a quick vid off my phone that I shot while riding behind KK.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4zh5g1eDBGw

I think that he will be carving his snowboard next season.

I have another trail building day out at Buffalo Creek Recreation Area so probably a camping weekend for me. Sorry bro, have fun wherever you ride. Or come join us for some diggin', BBQ and riding. Lemme know if that is of any interest which I doubt with how much you have been working.

Screw it. Go PLAY! Wish I could join you.

    Hey Bigs,

If you ride tomorrow(friday) you should see if Sheriff Pete can join you. I haven't been able to meet up with him yet and this monday probably won't happen either.
