It finally got warm enough to take the mittens off. If it wasn't for the flatness, it would be like WP....just with pheasants...and wind....lots of wind....and when it isn't blowing, there is a steady breeze...not sure if it is helping or hurting my golf game

I stand by the "strange"....you have Boulder.... and Colorado Springs....

PCD, I hear you. When the wife gets up here (next month), our evenings will be formula driven (the weening is about to begin). I hear that my daughter has her first cold....just started daycare...go figure.... Mama has been playing single parent for the last 8 months...damn glad that is coming to an end!

First Day of Summer at Lovey

Gate training, wax testing, helicopters, lift construction, and six inches of new slush on top. Good way to start off the summer.

Gonna try to get there after building trail all day. May be a bit late so hopefully there will be some of the best BBQ still available.

    Thanks Mario and Phylis,

Great BBQ as always. It was nice to see the LCI gang in the summer. I thought it was hot in Denver until I arrived in Iowa City today. 100 degrees with about the same humidity.

Awesome party, thanks so much for hosting us, even the mountain heathens! Was great to see everyone in shorts and t's instead of all covered up in gear. Thanks to Phyllis for putting up with us - great to see we all behaved ourselves!

It was fun having all of you over! I finally got a bite to eat around 10, then a shower around 10:30. I blame those damn chickens for the delay, and I noticed that Pete managed to survive without starving to death. We need to do this again sometime

    Question Rt. 6

    Quick question:
What's the distance from Lovey parking lot to the top of the pass on Rt. 6?
I'm guessing 2 miles that feels like 10 riding it on a road bike??
    More Smiles per mile :)

4, feels like 40 for a petite flower like myself. Haven't done it in a few years and don't plan on it anytime soon. Shelly did it a few weeks ago, along with squaw and vail pass in just over 10 hours. She is a beast

And he is working on becoming more socialable, poor guy. It's almost as bad as TGR in that front range forum if you are not careful. Did a 10+ miler with Farmer at the cone sunday from Mayhem Gulch, nice change of pace from the usual steep, root, rock, repeat of most of the other rides around here. Fun stuff. Heading to LOTB on thur.

Right on Bigsy. Rode Valmont on Friday for a bit. The large dj line is mine and I'm startin to do more than straight air it. Hit the wall ride at the end of the djs as well. Also tested out the large ss line. Got a couple of the hits up top but need to get more comfy for the lower ones. The place is RAD.

KK, Concussed and I rode with the Jr Devos on Sunday, 3sis. Good times and fun with the kiddos.

Denver Bike Park is opening soon. Possibly to ride on 01 Aug 11 and the Grand Opening on the 6th but that is not finalized yet. I can't wait!!!!
