Boardski, AGREE totaly man!
I look through it and I say to myself " a bunch of jaggofds snowboarding (more like jibbing) in places they should not be, and usualy doing stuff that is "NOT RECCOMENDED" for anyone, and it tends to be "pass pulling" sort of antics on any mountain by ski-patrol.
Not to mention they must have a colorblind ghey ape working for the clothing design department for most of these companies..... SERIOUSLY . WHO WEARS THIS S H I T ! >?
gappers?
must be, because atleast in this thread here on BOL, we all look like we know W.T.F. we are doing, and have some corridnated fashion sense!
I only got the subscription (by default) with my USASA membership.
the Mag also "pisses me off" too. I think I'll cancel, and ask for my "refund". Just not sure of the "three dollar value" connotation that they card says........ if all I get is a crappy magazine for 12 months, or 3.00, I think I'll take the 12 months of fire starting material to burn at the lodge fireplace![]()
If there isn't snow, It is still Ski season... JETSKI SEASON ! Carving on the unfrozen :)

I almost think this thread should be stickiedOh well.
It's a great idea, until the thread ages and picture links start breaking like they are destined to on ze internets. Not that I would complain if it did end up stickied.
There are always other options, but just about any solution that's actually good will probably end up being a big time sink. I can only imagine what will be done about the gear reviews section.
oh wait, that's colby, I always take the pics, lemme see if i have any
only pic i have, osin 3800 softy setup, taken by a buddy in west virginia, end of last season

two people do euro carves one circle inside the other at the same time. The outside guy holds onto the snowboard of inside guy's, off snow edge.....
be careful when the outside guy holding the edge pushes off the inside guys board to get back up, he will most definitely screw the inside guy real quick, but what a photo it would be. Bill Enos was the inside guy he almost hit a lift tower (very close)... I could never get him to do again for that photo......
I never understood why
Lets try it when I come back for X-Mas!!!
But I get the outside....LOL![]()
That's how I start 3800+(HardBoot&TD2). The other good thing when corduroy turn choppy, u can straight to trees

Here's a couple more. Time frame: 1996, Mammoth, CA. Chair 4. Equipment: 171 Burton Asym Alp, Burton Race plates, Burton Reactors. Thoughts running through my mind: Damn, I am looking good carving. Little did I know I was doing it allllllll so wrong.
I think I will spend more time on the carving stick, not sticks, this year.
Wrong? You look like you're having a blast.
Aaron: Looks like your having fun. When was that? Looks earlier than 96? The equip has changed!
Too true... It does look like you're having a blast...
Must've been carrying a fair whack of speed too.... the wind has peeled your lips back exposing your teeth
Steve
Tim, it was either 95 or 96. That was the first year of the Blue wood grained Alp. Not only the equipment changed, I did too. Just checked Derf's catalogs, it was 95
Steve, I was carrying "a fair whack of speed". You can tell, I was going so fast the air friction burned the hair right off the top of my head!!!

I was gonna say..I thought it was the topsheet of the board most people polish to a mirror finish.
. Let me know what polish you use. As my hairline recedes, I'm thinking a good base prep wax, then (depending on outside temp, of course.) a good hot wax should do it..
Hair burned? U turns under the sheets maybe?
