Ride to live.......Live to ride!
Check out the knee cap trench in the 2nd shot, that is some fine work on both side of the cameras
I love the smooth arc of the board as opposed to the kink at the front binding; IE nose about to fold
blue on the front, yellow on the back? I like that idea.

A rare photo of me this spring at Cypress in some spring slush, photo emailed to me by Rod the softbooter.
Sure people can ride, but my hat is off the the guys that can take a picture, I cant take a decent snowboarding picture to save my life.

Sweet pics JJ. Seeing those together I can almost see how your ride. May not make sense to some - great glimpse into your style.

It's a very relaxed style. You can tell he's not scared of going down or anything. Arms are low, sometimes hands even on the knees. It's a pretty pure style.
Soft bootin it since winter of 1998 (or sometime close)
Hard bootin it since December 2006.
No trees were killed in the sending of this message, but a large number of electrons were terribly inconvenienced.

Not super hi res LOL but it was some of my best carving. It's funny how it's hard to get those perfect days...the right light, the right snow, light crowds, and time off of work to enjoy it. Oh yeah, and somebody with a camera to grab a picture at just the right moment. The pictures in this thread are really great!
Love your avatar!!!!!![]()
Looking forward to this winter!!
Here's one. It's not me, but I like the way this guy carves!!!![]()
but nothing beats a work in progress... WCS ladies, as of 2 seasons ago i was closer to taming the beast, even on a bad day. i've worked on ceasing to flap my arms and continued the separation of "ze knees." goal on recentering has been helping my riding a lot. also finally succumbing to repairing my knee has allowed for improvement as well. looking forward to a much more productive season this year. winter where are you??
"you made that up, didn't you"
I don't have many pictures but this is a "best carving picture" because the landscape was just amazing
