    Thumbs up Abasin 3/1/08

    Saturday March 1st, 2008

Looking to gather carvers for trench digging/grilling and swilling on the beach at Abasin. Ernie00 will be in town and wants to see how the Colorado posse lays it down. We will have a grill available for post carve activities on the beach.

We will be riding various mountains throughout the first week of March if anyone wants to join later that week too. I'll post an agenda for the week if we actually come up with one.

    Lift Tickets

I have four $41 lift ticket coupons left for Abasin that are valid for 3/1/08.
    First come first serve.

There may be better deals out there but be sure to check the blackout dates!

The Lovey crew will be sessioning Monarch that weekend.

Mario, P, DT, Shelly, Concussed, and I go on the evening of the 28th and ride 29, 1, 2.

Maybe you folks could ride there the 29th!?! if you are hitting different areas. Just sayin' is all.

Bummer, that would be a bit difficult to pull off.

There is a pretty good chance that I will be out on sunday at Loveland as I won't be making it to SES.

Anyone want to join us Saturday at Abasin?

If you are thinking of riding WP that day... think again. It's Wells Fargo Cup weekend and WP will be an absolute zoo.

Do you still have the lift ticket coupons? If so, I'll try to make it out there, if you don't mind a newbie tagging along. Much more than $41 is out of my price range at this point... trying to set aside a little cash for a trip to Utah before the end of the season.

Wish I could join at Monarch but Ernie00 is coming in from Montreal and we plan on staying around Summit County and Winter Park while he is here.

Stan, count me in, sound's like a good idea to stay away from WP. If you have any tix left I'd use one. Steve T.

All that jealousy will only eat you up inside DT... obviously! Besides.. you already have a girl and she seems pretty cool. Are you having a difficult time with the transformation back to a "normal" life? Is it not working out for you? A pity really.. that you can't just accept things as they are and move on with your life.

Thanks for the... um.. "encouragement" BB but be careful where you tread here my man. If I'm whipped, what does that make you?

FYI.. last year you slept at around 5,000 ft and rode at around 10,000 ft. This year you are staying at 9,500 ft and riding at 12,000 ft. You likely wont have trouble, but if you do... just drink more beer. Then you can blame the headache on something besides the altitude.
