Years ago when I was flying hang gliders in the Minneapolis area there was a group of pilots from the Duluth area that was known as the Skyline SkyDogs. Every so often they would come down to the bluff across the river from Redwing (our club owned the 300 ft face, some of the top and the landing zone below) and we'd all get high, raise cain.

I've lived here for four years and never seen or heard of any hang gliding activity, though Skyiline Drive seems like an ideal launch site. Wonder what's happened to all those folks? Maybe they just stay under the radar nowadays......
