    Another goofy/regular idea

Found this left/right brain article and thought how you ride might indicate your approach to riding.

The suggestion is that you look to the right to use your left side brain and to the left to use your right side brain. Left brain - technical, right brain - artistic. Therefore goofy riders might be more technical in thier approach to riding etc.

It would take a GOOFY rider to say that!!

I know I'm not very artistic.
Soft bootin it since winter of 1998 (or sometime close)
Hard bootin it since December 2006.

    Doesn't work in my case.....

I'm goofy, but I'm more artistic than technical. I'm somewhat ambidextrous, can bat both left & right handed and throw a football both right & left handed, although I can't seem to throw a baseball left handed??? I also don't carve very symmetrically, maybe I'm using the wrong side of my brain.....

Don't know if it is because I ride goofy or not, but I am a technical rider and more technically oriented in many of the things that I do.

A good friend is very similar, but rides regular... go figure

I don't think that logic works very well in determining which riders are more technical or not. I would however think that a Meyer's Briggs test would do this. I'm much more of a "feel" rider than a technical one, but I'm goofy, and my testing suggests the same.
The only way to go faster is experience - at least that works with road racing a car....

I'm Goofy.... and I got nothin!!! No artistic talent... no technical talent..

Does that make me Multi-talentless ??????

I rode goofy with power and later (completely) switched to regular and am more artistic/creative in my riding. Just my $.02
