    who needs the weather man

sorry i missed you, ruff one last night. my buddy really took one for the team last night with my couger neighbor, he was in tough shape. i ended running into mojo and guy-father. HOWEVA today was pissa!!!!!!!!!!! it was by far the best day ive ever had on the snow in a long time. my wife had to pry me away, i didn't want to leave. this year has been epic, and it looks like the fun has just begun. more of the same stuff this week. tonight where going to be starting out with 4" of ice diareha, that will be turning into schlitz pellets ova night. then the sky will be dumping keystone light. next weekend should be even better.

not a problem. my wife & I almost left after our first run, but then we found marginal coverage on upper picks. stayed til 10am. had a ton of fun on the obstacle course of grass patches, mud, rocks, sink holes, streams etc. can't wait for MLK weekend.

Snow guns running full bore today

It's nice being retired - midweek boarding rocks!

Weather cooperated and Loon was blowing snow all day today - most was coming out pretty sweet.

With a good groom tonight, tomorrow should leave some decent cord.

midweek boarding has always been the best

ill bet this week was awsome, i was checking the temps and they seemed like perfect days. howeva, i heard 40% chance of rain tommorow and sundee. what a surprise, then loon is going to get its usual sunday night snowstorm. then by the end of the week more rain and sleet. weekend warriors cant win. its a waist of time even trying to think a week ahead. ive done that for the last month and it keeps on getting worse and i cant wait to see what the place looks like in february!

Let me know when you guys are going to be up at one of the threedom mountains. I can make it any day except tuesday and thursday. I was at waterville dialing in my Madd and all of the sudden an enormous mobb (15-20) little ones just hit the slope at the same time when school got out... Good thing they all ended up at the little park on the side of the mtn. Anywho, hit me up!

    Away Game

Went to WV today. Conditions were unbelievable from 8-10am--Deer Valley-esque corduroy!!! Hit the front side trails and North Side, never made it to Sunnyside (true grit area). Got a bit scratchy after 10am on anything steep, but packed powder was still plentiful elsewhere. Crowds were light & coverage was much better compared to Loon's--hardly any gravel or sticks to avoid. Desantis is gonna make a killing off me this winter. time for a team 32 vs team 28 scrimmage.

I was helping with the WVBBTS team this weekend (I was wearing a black coat and was riding either a Donek or a Madd), we ran SL gates on High Country on Saturday. Worked on free riding on Sunday. I thought the snow was the best that it has been all season. I was still able to find good carving terrain as late as 2:30, at that time my legs then cried "no mas". Is there any interest in masters race training? If there is interest I will talk to the club and see about either a perdiem rate or a price for the season. We usually get hill space 1/2day on both Saturday and Sunday and on some weekends we get a lane both morning and afternoon.

Glenn, im interested in race training just because its one way that I can really push my riding and I think it would be a great chance to ride with people that rip.

    Masters

    Hi Glenn:

I would consider masters training as well. I rode a few times with Anton and Joe last year and enjoyed the opportunity.

Please add me to the list. Glenn I think you passed by me at the quad lift line on Sun am while I was waiting for my wife. I was on a blue flame Coiler & orange jacket. What a day!!! I'm still fired up over those conditions!!

I'm another one in for possible gate training . I haven't run gates in almost 2 years now though, so I'm not very good anymore
