I know we talked about this in a different thread, but i cant find it, so i'll start a new one. how do you attach the canting plate to the burton race plates again? i finally found the plate, but i still cant figure it out!

you need to have the special center disk with the weird hole pattern to put your plate on the cant. If you are using 4 hole, you can get by if you know your angle of the binding and just place the regular 4hole disk in where it will fit without lining up the arrows to the angle you want. It might move your binding forward or back a bit but it still works.
You are not drunk until you are hanging on to the grass so you don't fall off the end of the earth.
I presume you want the 4 hole mounting instructions? If you want the 3-hole, let me know and I can post pics later.
Hopefully these two pics will help. I left the screws just sitting in the holes so you can see which ones to use. Also pay attention to which disk I used - this one is for the rear. The angle guide is offset to compensate for the offset screws.

actually im using the 3 hole disk (burton board) is it done the same way?
Yeah, the 3 hole is done the same way. it can be a little more confusing because of the two options you have for putting the screws into the cant disc (there are two orientations depending on which set of inserts you use). Aside from that it is the same thing as the four hole.
Don't forget that the canting plates is fixed to the board using shorter screws, 12 mm long (I learned it this week when my plate was moving around on my board).

Eureka! i mounted my plates!......i stood in my setup in my house and it feels WAY more natural than it did before. my only thing is i feel like my front thigh is a little more weighted than my back thigh. im wondering if instead of the 6 degree canting plate it came with if i would be better off with a 3 degree? or maybe a toe lift? any advice on this? its way better than it was before, but not quite perfect just yet

Try it like this on the hill and see how it goes. Then at lunch time switch the cant plate to the front foot, sloping towards the tail. That is, if you can remember how to mount it! See which way works better for you.Originally posted by Scotty Pumpkins
