The racing footage is good but that Host guy sure makes us Canadians look Pretty lame. He needs to tone down the gansta and bring out the snowboarder.......Or maybe I am getting old?

I also work (volunteer) at the mountain for the Ski patrol. we only have to work 3 or 4 days days a month (weekends). Sometimes we are busy with accidents and sometimes you are on the wrong side of...
All this talk of gorbs and bystanders getting hit, I noticed today I pulled some emergency carves to avoid people and can't help but wonder if the extra force sprays them with snow. No one has ever...
I have been involved in a few collisions. I find skiers try to mimic my lines but can't turn as tight at my board and tend to speed up and cross my line. I had a friend of mine ride up on my board...
Sun Peaks BC has one too but I don't recall the dates.
IIRC my lemans boots already had a hole in them for the intec cable. It was tight but I pushed it through (after I spit on it :biggthump) No problems with the operation.

Thanks for the clips. They wouldnt stream into my browser though, I had to D/L them to my pc.
I have noticed that the newest trend in boards is wider up to 21-25cm making boards more AM-ish. I was just wondering if skinny boards are going to be going the way of the Dodo. Also turned up flat...
I have yet to see an inbounds slide but every year when we take our avalanche search refresher for the Ski Patrol, they tell us 2 people have died at our Mountain inbounds due to slides. I know...
That sure is some piece of work. I love to see homebrewed stuff like that.
Thanks for the Pictures.
nice Vids man, the music is infectious too.
Thanks for Posting.
how old are the bindings and heels?
if you are talking about the bolts that come up from underneath to hold the heel piece in place, I had to loctite them as they came loose pretty quick.
I think what he is doing is hiding the fact that you are a better boarder than he is a skier and he is insecure. What you should do is join the patrol and strive to be a better first aider too then...

Sometimes it does. I have heard of people cracking ribs by falling on their radio.
2 weeks ago, I had a bike multitool with hex bits in my left pocket and I slammed hard on some boilerplate. It...
It sure makes it easy to teach other boarders how to handle the tobbogan by showing as opposed to a skier talking someone through it.
The one skier that is following me said he tried to stay with my trenches but his skis wouldn't turn that sharp. I got lots of good comments on my riding that weekend. Most people have never seen a...
There are 2 of us here full time on plates and one part time skier, plate rider.
We are both on the tobbogan training commitee also.
I got one here
and she is not a bad racer either.
Here is some pics of me at the CSPS national on hill seminar this year at Sun Peaks BC. Click on them for larger shots.
My vest makes me look like a jelly belly, but it adds weight to pressure...
Well It went off with a bang. there were 3 of us. Gtanner, Neil and Myself. We had a good day fighting the bumps, cold weather and visibility, but other than that, it was nice to ride with other...
so... are we still on for Monday.
I will be there for sure. Neil, I will try calling you on the radios.
the last few days I have been there have been pretty chopped up by the time I get on...
Allee, I am not sure if I will go up tomorrow. I was up today (friday) it was good, but not the greatest for caving as there was hardly any grooming and light snow falling so there was lots of...
