No, no...you didn't check my location. I'm in Canada. The collision would happen, we'd apologize to each other repeatedly while waiting to be air lifted off the hill, and then go on with our lives....

I wound up going with a basic vest with a spine protector and foam for chest/ribs. I think it was about $100. It added a little bulk, but not enough to slow me down...and it got my confidence...

Yeah, I did that in slush last year...I still think one of my ribs isn't quite in the right place from the slam to the snow. Not long after that I got my chest/back protector...
