Today we brought our puppy to the dog park to play. After a bit of timidness he loosened up and was chasing the big dogs around. It was a good time. Post you dog pics if you have any!

here's my backcountry partner Buddy(pitbull/cattledog mix). The best partner ever, although he probably thinks I'm too slow, but I only have 2 legs. Just need to get him to stop going between my feet. Good thing he loves the mountains-he's illegal in Denver

there's an ordinance in Denver than bans pitbulls. Any dog that is a pitbull is taken and killed, just because the dog is a pitbull. The city has put over 300 pitbulls to sleep since the ordinance went into effect.

sounds almost like the holocaust cept for pitbulls. Thats a horrible law. There is no such thing as a bad dog, just a bad dog owner.

BTW, thats not my dog. i dont have a dog. thats the worlds ugliest dog and it died a lil while ago :( RIP

Denver does have a ridculous law regarding pits. I love them. Have one back with my parents that is a great dog, and I currently live with one. So friendly. I remember back in the 80's and 90's it was the pincers and rotties that got all the flak, now it's pits. I'm just hoping that Denver's stupidity isn't contagious to other areas of CO.

Just proving that there's no such thing as bad dogs, just bad dog owners; there is this horribly viscious rottie that lives up the street from me that won't let you run past his house. He comes out growling and baring his teeth and keeps edging towards you until you run away, or he gets close enough for you to pet him. He prefers the petting though. Its really funny. You get scared half to death by this dog that just wants to be petted.
