Any woodworkers - hobbyist or professional on this site. I do a little bit in my workshop anywhere from my current project a cherry wood curio cabinet for my skier girlfriend to gunstocks out of high grade walnut. Anyone else make chips so to speak?

I guess I could be considered a woodworker. I went through several thousand board feet of poplar and ash in the last year. The dissapointing thing about it is that almost 70% of it gets turned into dust/chips. I wish you injection mold wood. It would make things so much easier.

I have been known to create a little sawdust in my shop. I don't have any real projects going right now but I do have a lot of things to make in my house.

I butcher wood on occasion, I even have a stock bending rack for torturing walnut stocks...nothing like heat and pressure to make things flexible...bit like being married!
Sean, search on Injection Molded WPC and you will be suprised what you find!

Not for money, but I've done some for fun... lots of skate ramps, a few car stereos (speak enclosures, amp racks, a motorized amp rack in my old VW bug back in the day), and a not-very-pretty stereo cabinet for my dorm in college.
Been thinking about building a computer desk lately, might have to dust off the table saw.

Yep -- Count me as a woodworker... Oldtools to boot. I surface and deminsion my rough lumber with hand tools.... I will confess I own a bandsaw, but just so I can resaw... Otherwise I enjoy hand tools.

Turning for fun and profit!
(a lot more of the former than the latter)
