... but it's well used.

It's either a 98/99 or a 99/00, and it's a 165. The flex is still nice and stiff but the topsheet is peeling away in a few places and the base has been ground quite a number of times. Don't get me wrong, it's certainly rideable... but IMHO it has only one or two base grinds left before it's done.

I can take some pix and post them if you are interested.

I rode it with both soft and hard. It carved well in softies, but was a bit stiff for off-piste use. With plates, it did much better off piste and still carved well.

I'll take some pix tonight if I have time and get 'em posted.

Topsheet:

Nicks on tail:

The worst of the base damage:
http://www.tovino.com/frs/basedamage.JPG

As you can see, several medium-grade scratches in the base, and the big grayish spot is a core short that was base-welded and ptexed. As with any core shot that close to the edge, it needs to be re-ptexed every now and again, the base weld prevents (too much) further core damage. Like I said, it's been well used.

If you are interested even after seeing the condition (!), make me an offer - mtovino@yahoo.com. Otherwise it will sit in my garage until next time I feel like riding on rocks!
