I tried put TD2 on very narrow board and found out the binding is too big to work. I have currently installed modified TD1. I chopped base plate to make binding shorter. I work Ok with 27 size boots. But I am missing lift–cant versatility of TD2. So I was looking at Catek OS2 short plate. My questions, is the footprint of the base disk of Catek smaller than Bomber and how long is the base plate (short version) of OS2? It seems to me this plate can not be shortened without compromise rigidity of the part due to triangular cutouts in the end of plate. Any ideas? Thanks.

Ladia,

I think the disk of the OS2 is 14cm in diameter...

Nope.

The OS2 disc is 12.5cm in diameter.
The Power Plate is 17.75cm in length (sits under top plate).
The Short Plate is 19.85cm in length.

I was looking for those too! I emailed Jeff for dimensions, didn't get back to me yet. I'm measuring my Volkl Monocarver as soon as I get home. :biggthump

My modified TD1 plate is 17 cm long. I would have to do some measurement for Catek.
Marz, be carefull, Monocarver has 4x4 pattern rotated by 45 degree. I am using Volkl binding on it.

D-Sub,
I am not sure, how the base disk looks like,so you will have to ask Fin.

Just limited to riding 65* + on a regular alpine board & the plates are a little longer than the short Cateks. I think the OS2 may be my ticket to swap between the Monocarver & my regular sticks.
