The first stop on the Race To The Cup started today (01/04/04) with an amazing course and conditions at Howelson Hill.
The PSL format had an international field from Canada, The UK and a bevy of US riders. In the mens finals Phillipe Berube (CAN) had to out duel a strong field or riders to take the win over Quinn Orb (USA) in the head to head format. In third place was David Manthei (USA) a top junior racer from Steamboat Springss and in fourth was US Team Rider Anton Pogue. The top ten was rounded out by Graham Watanabe (USA), Darren Ratcliff (USA), Vic Wild (USA), Justin Claude Dumont (CAN), Justin Rieter (USA) and Tyler Jewell.
Up next for the men is a PGS on Monday Morning featuring the same international field and more head to head racing action.
