This is why I picked up some super g skis. I knew they weren't laying 'em over like this in GS. Check out that inside ski. Almost identical to a CMC turn.

I guess I will have to work on my splits...

What is Cmc turn and I can see the pick fine. That is a great turn if you like use skis.

I'll echo Jerry here - cool carve if ya like skiis! You know he's gotta be haulin' a$$.

The edge of that outside ski had better hold or he'll end up chafing "the boys" with that inside ski edge :eek:

CMC i.e. "Carve Master Curt" a self appointed master of the craft with clear skills but rather large ego and somewhat belligerent attitude that had been banned from this forum for said attitude... If you're interested there's a video clip on the Catek forum (in a rather strange "freecarve competition") sometimes but apparently he is selling his snowboard stuff and is concentrating on skateboard slalom...

OH YEAH!!! Great pic.

I haven't been on my GS skis in over a year, but I haven't found any opportunities (mid-week-no-crowd) to pull them out and let them run. That pic encourages me make the time and pull them out this year!

Carving turns on skis or a snowboard is an awesome feeling, but for some reason (One platform vs two aside), the satisfying "feel" of one is quite unlike the "feel" of the other.
