Just got a closeout price on last year's UPS RX. It's a 4-buckle model, rather than a 5-buckle.

I think I will be able to make it fit well with a little work.

It's still returnable, and I thought I'd ask if anyone has eny experience with this boot before I commit to keeping it.

Will 4 buckles vs 5 buckles make a big difference? I'm more of an all-mountain / freecarve kind of guy, not interested in racing.

I'd like to know where you picked those up. I have an order in with Dan, but the boots may not be shipping in time for the snowperformance camp in december, which I'm attending.

I'm curious too, I also have the 04's on order with Dan....my searching of German eBay turned up three pairs and a reference to a bunch of UPS I had never heard of..did you know they do a foam liner!

i got them from dan at www.upsboots.com.

i suspect i got the closeouts because my feet are near the top of the size range. i assume he would have told you when you placed your order if he had closeouts in your size.

ahh, those. Actually, dan had a little ebay store for a while, and I remember seeing some 29mp rx's. Well, nice score for you :).
