Hi Nic. I know I had offered to help you in the past with this. If you want to send them to me via email. I will be happy to re-size them , even build a gallery for you so they will be hosted at a url you can link too.

I need to chat with you anyway. I think I am short a jacket in the last shipment? Finally got around to inventoring the items. Been meaning to write you. Thanks, Bryan

PS. you can also read the help files on any basic photo software to get instructions. If you have XP Pro , I believe photo editor is built in?

I have a ten year old 540kb shareware program that does a great job. Send me (pmoore@snet.net) your e-mail address and I'll send it to you. The only restriction is that you're limited to 8 character file names.

XnView (http://www.xnview.com/) will do the job and it is freeware. You just have to select File -> Save As... then click "Options" and select the quality.

If you want something more extensive for editing images, The GIMP (http://www.gimp.org/) is very nice and yes, it does run on Windows.

Tinypic is perfect for this. It will auto-resize for you and they'll host it so Fin doesn't have to use up storage and bandwidth. Once you post it up in tinypic, it will even give you a line to copy/paste into your post with the IMG tags in it.

Hey Freddy, I re-sized, re-dimensioned, cropped and adjusted the photos you sent. I have created a gallery on www.oldsnowboards.com in a brand new gallery catagory. Look forward to adding additional photos of BOL riders. One of the galleries I am anxious to create is "My Collection" gallery. Look forward to putting up some of the collectors galleries. Very cool.

Really nice shots of your riding!! Cranking!!

I've seen the photo file size limits in the attachment management area 800 x 600 for .jpg & 97.7 kB. Yet some people manage to post photos that are much bigger.
e.g. http://www.bomberonline.com/vbulletin/showpost.php?p=301087&postcount=348

This image is 972px × 940px & 330.91 kB (338,856 bytes)
It is also located at http://www.chrischabot.net/1acesharpy1.jpg

The file was never hosted on Bomber's server. It is sitting at the other location and then linked to. When composing a message, look at the top of the window. You'll see a small icon that looks like a mountain in a box. That is your insert image button. You can cut and paste the url of the image that you want to appear in your message there.
