Picked up a Skwal the end of last year. Somewhat older board, unused, never had bindings mounted. No inserts, so will have to mount into the core.

Does anyone have any suggestions on WHERE to mount the bindings, cant's, etc.? Probably index from the center of the running length of the board and set them equal lengths fore and aft?? Other ways???

As far as the actual mounting, for the last board without inserts (old Aggression?), I drilled holes most of the way through the core, filled them with TiteBond wood glue (water resistant type), and ran in some stainless steel mounting screws. If there is a better way to do this, let me know!

Thanks!

Do a Google search on Skwal. Most of the site are in Europe, however they are commonly in English and a very passionate group of hard core riders exist. Just not real big here.

The key is to know what you want for a stance. Typically the boards do not have inserts and you must mount the bindings similar to a ski.

Let us know how it turns out.

The guys that have it down, RIP!!

Will give this a try. Doing the research before drilling the board is kind of a new concept for me... :)

Did you get the board drilled and good to go?

I've got the old Lacroix with drilled bindings if you need some pics to go by.
