////SOLD/////
Selling my baby. So beautiful, just couldn't get the hang of carving. It's a <st1><st1></st1><st1>Coiler All</st1><st1> Mountain</st1></st1> 172, ridden only a handful of times and only on good snow. Blue flame finish. Unfortunately, keeping it just because it's pretty isn't practical. Bindings are Catek Olympics with long plates and standard bails. Deck and bindings are in mint condition and have been kept in a sleeve except for when on the slope. Will consider reasonable offers. High resolution pictures are available upon request.

What's the waist width (19, 21.5, 23.5), construction (regular, World Cup, Superboard) and what weight rider was it built for?

I believe the waist is 21.5 and the board was built to accomodate a 230 pound rider. Regular construction.

Most likely too stiff for me given the weight - but perhaps the added info will spark some interest. Best of luck to ya!

A 230# flex is way more than you might want.

Thanks Jim. That was one of the reasons I couldn't afford to make a big offer on this one. By the way, I got my kirkwood seasonpass again for this year. Where is snowwwwwwwww? :angryfire

Keep your pow gear around. Looks to be a 70% chance of a repeat of last season. I'd like to skip the broken clavicle part. :o
Got my Kwood pass too! Now for the Granite Chief half price tuneup deal and I am set.

I'm not quite 230lbs., (just a few burgers and a pitcher or 2 away) but if you ordered it with a normal flex I could be interested.
Do you recall if Bruce made it stiff or flexy for you? If there's a stiffness number on the sidewall, I could compare it with my friends AM 172 and get an idea of stiffness.
Please post or drop me a line when you can. Do you have a price in mind or are you taking bids?
Thanks, and I'm sorry carving didn't work out for you.

So what do you mean you "couldn't get the hang of carving?" How long did you give yourself? Did you get instruction? What went wrong?

I don't know, man. I just wasn't enjoying snowboarding at all like I did skiing, not that snowboarding is bad. It's just not for me. I had many futile lessons, read as many articles as possible, and tried for a few years. I even tried different styles and equipment, no dice.

No problem, man. I actually haven't had a chance to hit BigSky yet, but I've only heard good things about it. I don't know though if it's suited very well for carving. MT has more of a tendency to fulfill the "North Western US snow" expectations, that is, really good snow if you're not focused completely on groomers.
