I have been musing about gear---you know the calendar year is almost over and my promise not to buy anything else expires 1/1/06. Plus, I overheard all these other moms talking about getting their nails done and since I just clip my own, that should count for something in terms of fiscal responsibility, shouldn't it :ices_ange

Anyway, I've decided to get a hard setup...
I have my eye on some boots, just happen to be on end of season sale..
And some bindings-also season closeout prices-see how responsible...
But, needless to say, the softie set up I have has no cant and I'm at a loss to figure out what would be good to start...
0 front, 3 rear????
I plan to debut my setup in March, so there's no rush....
Just random musings while I clean my own house....see how responsible....

I'd shoot off the cuff and say go 0 front/3 rear to start, and most bindings allow some toe lift for future tweaking. And I agree, doing your own nails HAS to count for something!

Very useful information, but your articles don't cover canting at all ;)

I'm just teasing you. :biggthump

Here's a link (www.yyzcanuck.com/E_tech_article04.htm) to the canting article. The other articles on the tech page are also interesting to read.
