Catek mounitng question

Hey there, I need a little help. I just got a used set of 04-05 Olympics and need to figure out how to mount the plates to the disc as the seller had lost the directions. My problem is that I don't know how many turns the set screws need to be run in. I know how to set the cant and lift by turning them but there appears to be an initial run in I am missing because the end of the kingpin contacs the board when I tighten it.

Also, there are 2 washers with the kingpin assy. One obviously sits under the bolt head but where does the other one go? (this looks like a really dumb question, sorry)

Any help would be appreciated.

Sometimes I tend to look past the obvious... Ran the set screws in an equal number of times until kingpin and spherical nut were seated properly (ie kingpin still within the disc) and I'm ready to rock.
