TriRunner

I was wondering what you all thought would be a fair price for this powder board?
I am looking to add a powder specific board to the quiver and was curious for those who own this board how much they paid?
There is a decent inventory building on e-bay.

I paid $100 + shipping for mine at the end of January. It was a brand new board. It's the absolute best deal I've gotten on a piece of snowboarding gear. The Ebay seller I bought it from was Evogear.com.
Last week, Evogear.com had some 4807's on Ebay for $79 (Buy it now price). I tried talking my brother into getting one at that price, but his wife wouldn't let him buy it. All those 4807's were sold in about 6 hours.
Before this week, most of the "Buy It Now" prices were at $149. It looks like the prices are going up.
If you select "Completed listings" on the left side of the Ebay page, you can see how much people paid for the past auctions. I think it goes back 30 days.
I've only seen the 168's for sale. No 178's on Ebay recently.

I'd say that anywhere from $75 to $150 would be a pretty fair price. If you can, get the 178 for the added float in the pow. I think I paid $150 a couple of years ago and thought I'd gotten a great deal.

You always say that Randy :) Even for scrawny little me (5'8" 150 lbs)... Trirunner is apparently 5'10" 175 lbs.

That's because I can make the nose sink on the 178. Granted, I'm 5'10" and 195lbs, but in powder I don't think you can have too long a board. Pearling isn't a good thing in surfing or powder riding. :(
The 168 probably is fine, but I'd prefer the bigger one.

I bought my 178cm 4807 end of season last year for $95 plus $10 s&h. Now that I have it I would gladly pay $300 if I broke mine and needed another one. I bought my wife's 168cm for $150. She likes it much better than her winterstick and she rides it all season instead of just in the pow now.
Let's face it, if you look just at the board instead of what people have been able to buy it for (me included) then anything under $200 works. It floats in any amount of pow, plows through everything else, and even carves a bit on 'reasonable cord' (not boilerplate ice).
V-nose tip, Fish tail
Slanted sidewall construction
Wood Core: full length dual poplar and samba wood core; light weight density hard wood.
Fiberglas: tri-axial cross laminated with kevlar/carbon fiber
Base: extruded 7500, high wax absorbtion.
Seriously its a great board and any of those prices are good.
Of course if you want a newer version, you can go here: http://www.wavejammer.com/snow/boards/boards00.shtml
I recommend it. If you don't have enough pow around to justify a Fish tail, get a Tanker from yours truly :)

My 168cm 4807 has become my de-facto all mountain board. I wonder if Prior could make a customized version of the 4807 that's a little bit narrower? I'd like it to be a little faster going from edge to edge when I'm on the groomed.

How much do you want for your 178? I've got a friend who is much bigger than me that I've been trying to talk into getting a powder board.

Last year, I bought a 178cm 4807 (in the wrapper) off Ebay like the rest of these guys. Price was $125 + tax and shipping, came out to $171.
Great board for the pow and carves well too. Go big with the 178cm, faster is better.

I have the 178 and it will do alot more than Pow. I had a Undertaker and it was totally useless on anything other than pow. 4807 is a Versital pow board that will still hold well on packed snow and is even fun in the push piles. Just dont bother trying to load the nose:D
Worth $200 all day
