Dear Madd 170,
I love you. When I first rode your shorter cousin (the 158) last year I thought, "damn I have GOT to get one of these". I knew just looking at you that there was more to it than that "butter-face". The full PTC tune is a work of art. I have never met another that has inspired such all out war on the slopes. I carved on you so frickin hard - and you just looked up at me and said "harder". Through the morning groom, the softer afternoon chop with ice in between - you make me feel like the b!tch that I am when I'm on top of you. I tried different styles and you simply asked for more. Surfy tail rides, pounding on the nose, airborn transitions. You blew my mind wide open. I have never felt so confident and secure before. You are sooo smooooooth feeling and do EVERYTHING that I ask you to do. I've got butterflies. Wait till I get my hands on your 158 cousin...party!

shaggy helped me set my new MADD up at stratton in early jan. i'm not as accomplished as some of you folks here but between him and kurt? (dont know) they hooked me up w/some pointers. cant beat having the guy that built and tuned yer board tell you how to set it up!! i'm a lowland guy and going to a semi-real mtn 4 my first ride of the year was different. having some cool people 2 ride with was also cool. (kurt?),willy-whit, dude from jersey, dude from u-conn(w/dog)...i dont get that at home. stuck here bcuz of career. do what i can, have fun. hope to see some carvers soon.-later-chris

Yeah, I'm pretty exceited about my 170 as well. I love my two Coilers at least as much though, I'm just a board slut :D
