I have scrounged up a couple of race boards for my kids. Both are going out over the holidays. Our first race is January 3rd. I'm looking for boots for them. I read the adjoining articles but i don't remember about width issues. How important is width in boots?

It is just important that the boots fit your kids' feet. If they have wide feet, avoid Burton boots. If you know a good bootfitter, they can usually make boots fit.

I don't know where you are, but here in Montreal (more specifically Laval), there is a shop (Oberson) that has lots of leftover Blax boots in size 22.5 Mondo (or similar sizes)
