For Sale:
I have a brand new pair of Catek Olympic step-ins (long) still in box, never mounted. - $230
New Intec heels + hardware in box - $30
Almost new '05 UPZ Superlight raceboot size 28 -$350(or trade for some Northwave .900's)
Boots have a 1/2 day of riding on them.
'97 Mistral Sonic 167cm in good condition, still very stiff - make offer
I'm selling all this because at the time it was purchased it was going to be used on a race board. I ended up buying a Swoard at the end of last season and love it so much I've decided to adapt to the EC riding style. The race stuff is just too stiff for EC.

Hey Grady,
I'll take the Intec heels for $30. I can meet you in Santa Cruz this week.
You were riding last weekend with Jim at K-wood. I was there with him, but riding other runs.

Do UPZ work ok with Swoard boards ?

Thanks for the reply artnshel, but I'm going to pass on your offer.
The UPZ boots are $400 + shipping from the Rep. new. Mine are only a 1/2 day old!
Lee,
In my opinion, the UPZ's are great boots for racing. Tons of support and micro adjustments because of the 5 buckles. No heel lift at all! Lots of power and leverage. But for the Swoard, I found them too stiff. The Swoard seems to be more of a Cadillac than a race car. The Swoard likes to cruise on autopilot and needs a softer suspension (boots and bindings) for EC.

Grady, what are you using for boots and bindings on the Swoard?

Steve I'm using old Burton Reactors in the walk position, and Catek world cup bindings. When I sell my new Catek Olympic step-ins, I'm going to buy some TD2's. Then I can sell my old world cups. I'm trying to get my hands on some Northwave .900's, but if I can't find any, I'll have to try a spring modified AF600
