Is it snowing anywhere else in New England?
I'm jealous seeing all that powder at the 'Loaf!
I'm at work just a few minutes south of Waterville and Loon and it's pouring out!!! No snow here. The grass outside is turning greener and greener as we speak.
It's supposed to get cold over the next few days. Let the snow guns blow!!!

Geoff, I may be able to do next weds if the snow is decent at Kmart. Looks like the Loaf is the best call for the next few days. http://www.snocountry.com/snowclient/srlist.php?state=ME&command=statecond&satype=NA_Alpine

Funny how Sunay River hasn't updated their website today. Either a big dump or rain. I live in central Maine and we didn't get any snow at all. Anyone going to the loaf this weekend? Should be good.

It's light rain at the base, still snowing hard up top.
Should make for an awesome carving base this coming weekend.

Here in Montreal, there is some snow on the ground and still snowing, but it is wet snow. I don't know what type of snow there is in the Laurentians or in Québec city though.

Laurentians got quite a bit, in the newspaper it said 10cm, but at Tremblant I think it was more like 30cm, it snowed all day, and it should stay. I think Quebec city got rain, but not Sainte Anne/Massif/Stoneham

Sunday River is running $99 for a ski/stay thru the 18th. That's 2 people in 1 hotel room on the mt and 2 lift tix. Not bad, $25 to ski, $25 to stay. Still checking on the dorm digs but will prob stay in No Conway instead.

FYI - Sunday River is mediocre at best right now. Sat/Sun showed some BIG ice patches and plenty of exposed rocks to wreck your rails on. The extra drive to the Loaf prob would've been a better call. At least they're getting snow right now.

..........and things look like they're only going to get worse.....for the remainder of the week temps in the upper 30's and low 40's and the chance of rain.
