Hello,

I just wanted to throw a quick post up as I am new to the carving community. I just picked up a set of boots as well as bindings from the classifieds and just planning on putting it on my all mountain Nidecker Legend untill I find a carve specific board. I have been boarding in softies for the past 3 years and due to my brothers advice I want to start hard booting. I was just wondering where are the places to go in MA to get some instruction on carving?

Hello and welcome! Check out Berkshire East... there's at least one guy there who knows what he's doing. Also, don't forget that VT, NH, and ME are not far away.

Be sure to check out the Instructor Search page, if you haven't already:

And most importantly, do yourself a HUGE favor and get to some of the upcoming local carving events, especially ECES which includes some carving clinics (http://www.bomberonline.com/VBulletin/showthread.php?36317-Carving-Clinics-are-here!!)with great instructor/coaches. You won't regret it. See links below.
