centrifugal or roots or screw type?
Doesn't some of the scooby(wrx) comes with snail from factory?
With turbo you might lose some power down low but you can gain a ton on top.

Only type of Super Charger worth working with, twin screw.

Turbos are awesome, but I love the drivability of a SC. You are correct, a turbo can generate way more HP than a SC. But if you look at the curve of a dyno chart a SC curve will be nice and linear with a lot of area under it. The Turbo will have a higher HP point but (if done to extreme mind you) a curve that is sharp and quick. Toggle switch or dimmer switch for a throttle? You pick.

And SC make that mean high pitch whine...love it.

And SC make that mean high pitch whine...love it.the original Koenigsegg CCX had a lysholm screw supercharger. very distinctive sound.

True. There are many other options
twin turbo:small turbo for low rpm and Big turbo for high rpm
sequential turbo
or variable vane turbo
Supercharger for low rpm and nitrous for top end.

Used to have 671 roots blower on my SBC383. It was fun but now I like big turbo :1luvu: I remember/miss the whine... but BOV make some interesting sound as well..

Winter used to be my time to work on car but now it is for snowboarding. :(
