Try looking in the classifieds as that is where people are going to be advertising not here...BTW I found my Oly's there

Try classifieds on this site like Gecko said. But sometimes if you are looking on ebay you need to be creative with keyword searches, or be a litle more diligent in the searches. Its frustrating on eBay sometimes because there are usually hundreds of softboot bindings for sale for every plate binding you may find.

Also, not all plate bindings for sale are being sold by hardbooters. Therefore, sometimes they have no clue what they are selling, and you need to take your time with a search. This may also be adventagious to the savy buyer, becasue he/she may be able to poach a pair at a low price.

Also, what do you need, a 4H pattern (likely) or a 3D Burton pattern?(less likely)

Here are a few on ebay right now that are used:

(The first pair is mine I am selling,[shameless plug], but the rest are not mine)

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=21248&item=7116424773&rd=1

these appear to have the 4H discs, but they are the oldest style of Burtion made:

This guy almost always has a brand new pair of Burton plates for sale:

race plate:

carrier plate:

rental/demo race plate:

Here's a another guy with race plate step ins for sale:

So, that makes 8 pairs of plate bindings currently for sale on eBay, all with a price that is easier to swallow than the new TD's, and 4 of the choices are brand new!!

Just make sure that if you NEED a 4H pattern, that those discs come with the Burton bindings, otherwise, you may need to hunt down a pair at a snowboard shop.

I prefer the TD's too, but if you are on a budget, these choices will at least get you out there carving on the hill until you can afford them!

Good Luck!

I wish I had the easy answer to that one. I don't think Burton makes a cant that will work on a 4H. Off hand, I don't know if any company does. If anyone knows the answer then chime in. Might be a good time to search the site for such a topic, or start a new thread with cant options as the topic. Just for giggles, I tried lining up the 4H Burton discs on my Bomber TD cant/lift and they don't line up.

wuzupwityou,

Here's the easiest solution I can find on short notice.

The cant plate I had up for auction just sold for 35 bucks (but it wouldn't work for you anyways). you bid 76 on my binding. shipping is 10 on the bindings. That would be a 76+35+10 = $121, IF you won at the current bid which is 76, and IF you won the cant at 35 AND IF the cant would work to begin with.

So.......

Buy these NEW instead, they come with 4H discs and a 4H cant, total is $135 + $11 shipping, = $146

For the extra cost of what a decent case of beer would cost, you will have EXACTLY what you need, and its brand new.

This guy ALWAYS has a pair for sale, sometimes he lists them without a buy-it-now for 124.99, that would save another 10 bucks for you!

OH, and if you do decide to take my advice, PLEASE remember to retract your bid with my bindings ASAP!

Thanks!
