For you beginners, Mom/Dads looking for cheaper smaller but good carve boards, and even the rest of us experienced riders, make sure you check out E-bay Germany and some of the other European sites. There are usually some great older used Carve/Race boards for sale and many of them go for very cheap. The downside is you have to pay more for shipping, but it usually still works in your favor.

if you need to translate the text, you can use Yahoo Babblefish translator. its not perfect, but it works.

Ask the sell if they will ship the board to the USA first, before you bid. I usually write all questions in English, then use the Babblefish translator to translate to the target language and paste both the English and translated Text into the question block.

I got my Raichle boots that way several years back.... as far as I remember, the transaction went smooth and I'm still in those boots!

I lost well over a hundred bucks buying directly from a USA ebay vendor that was based on Germany.

Word to the wise, if you do buy, make sure it's via a formal auction so you can leave feedback if anything is amiss.
