I remember a previous thread about shoulder braceas but cannot find it. I'm still nursing a sore shoulder from an injury last season. (subluxated longhead of bicep tendon and resultant tendonitis)
Can anyone recommend a shoulder brace that still allows freedom of movement.

Hey Rob! FYI, Alex just got the same EVS brace for his shoulder from his injury at Sugarloaf.

Hi guys.

My shoulder was luxated in 3 ocassion, so I was operated the last year,

I bought the shoulder brace from EVS to prevent injuries.

BUT...

If you use it without the band (which restrict the front movement) only his function is support the shoulder, he don't prevent other luxation or injuries.

If you use with the band , never will have other injury , but your arms will be straight when you ride, and will be impossible to do carving, and you haven't any movility with your arms, they work limiting your arm movement.

So, my EVS, is in the wardrobe, the solution for me it's try not to fall , EVS is not a good solution to prevent luxation , at least in this sport.

But is only my opinion

And here I thought my 3 snowboarding dislocations were unusual. Now, jamming my palm into a carving rut feels like it's going to take out my shoulder again. Tried keeping my arms tucked, but three cracked ribs from going down on my elbow was worse. I think strength training for the shoulders is probably the best prevention.
